@Navy_Mommy: No, it was almost definitely not that. It's still unexplained. Maybe my body just doesn't make enough milk -- that is rare, but certainly possible. There are some other possibilities as well, but we never found any definitive answers.

Mine came in about 75 hrs after I gave birth and I'd had a epidural and IV fluids. I never thought of my milk coming in late, but I guess it just missed the cut off for being 'on time'! Regardless, we never had to supplement so it wasn't an issue.

Mine came in maybe 2-1/2 days after birth, but I had lots of colostrum before that. I did have an epidural/fluids/and a tiny bit of pitocin but didn't receive anything till I was 8 cm and had been in labor over 24 hours at that point so maybe late the interventions didnt make a significant impact on milk. The only thing Ive noticed from talking to friends is all of them who had a c section had their milk come in after 72 hours.

I had a whole pile of interventions during the final stages of my labor (but no C-section). My milk essentially never came in. We worked with a lactation consultant, but nothing worked. We never received any real answers as to what went wrong, but I don't necessarily blame the interventions.

I had every last one of those interventions, and it came in 'late' - on day four of life. My mother had an unmedicated birth, and her milk was exactly the same. I made plenty of colostrum before that - as do most women. This fear mongering about milk coming in 'late' or 'not late' is really sad - 2-5 days is the norm, with 5 days being just as normal as 2. It really perpetuates the notion that if your milk isn't in by the time you leave the hospital, it's 'late', and something is wrong, and you need to do something else. Very frequently, that just isn't the case.

I'm another day 5 here. We had a rough day 3, but a visit to the peds office helped. We started supplementing on day 3 with the blessing of the peds office. After the initial stress subsided, my milk came in.

I had an epidural and IV with a 14 hour labor. The article is interesting because they almost make it seem like having any one of the four is bad. I had to have IV antibiotics because of GBS. Without those antibiotics, my labor might not have been a successful, almost routine/textbook vaginal birth. LO could have also been at a health risk if the GBS transferred to him. If it made me getting my milk in slower, to me, it just means that it look awhile longer to get into a breastfeeding rhythm.

I had a cervidil and pitocin induction with IV fluids. My milk came in on the 4th day (she was born late monday night, and my milk came in late on Thursday). But, I was told by my midwife and LC that it is normal for it to take up to 5 days, so I wasn't worried. I knew she was getting colostrum and that her little bit of weight loss was normal.

I had no intervention & I think it took ~2.5 days for mine to come in with P. I also had TONS of colostrum (I could squirt it in P's mouth even when she wouldn't latch) so I wasn't concerned about it even if it had taken longer.

My milk came in almost 7 days after G was born & I had every intervention listed.

ETA: There should be one more vote for NO b/c I only voted for my experience with G, not P too.
