We just did the standard 9x13 cake pan with boxed cake and canned frosting- we got to pick the flavors and help make and decorate the cake. The frosting uses real butter as opposed to shortening, and it's super good! I can't remember us ever sharing one cake - I think there were at least 2 if not 3 every year.</p> <p>I think boxed cake is really as good as scratch if you make your own frosting. I remember her making a bunny one year.
