The only brand name stuff was anything she bought at Marshall's or Ross. Yeah definitely not. I worked at an elementary school 2 years ago and the parents of one of the fifth graders I worked with were buying him $80-$100 jeans! I was never in the trendiest stuff like Guess but I always looked nice and clean and proper. I was lucky to get my ONE outfit from Dollar General after years of begging. Shoes came from Wal-Mart (Payless cost too much.) When I finally got chestier than my hand-me-down donor, I started shopping at Wal-Mart, and I was lucky for that. Hobo clothes during elementary school, and then sometime around middle school my dad started making a lot more money, and we had nice new expensive clothes from name-brand mall stores. Even when I was older I didn't have many brand name clothes. My parents would have bought me nicer clothes, but ive always been quantity over quality. Plus id find name brands at Ross. I was just never into name brands though. The kids would tease me for having shoes from Payless! Then as my parents made more money, they did buy me much nicer clothes once I started jr. high.
