He also taught me how to play softball and ice hockey, both of which I've continued to play over the years, though not this year obviously (22w pregnant!).</p> <p>I wanted my mom to teach me to decorate cakes, but she refused saying that people would take advantage of me, and I'd be decorating cakes for everyone (as she did for years for my extensive family, often on short notice). TBH, people really did take advantage of her kindness. MIL/GMIL taught me to knit and I just taught myself to crochet. I hope to pass all of these along to my girls. </p>
