Lots of stuff, but most awesomely, my Expo '86 t-shirt! I'm totally going to put it on my LO when it fits her. Retro t-shirt day!

My mom saved pretty much everything! She saved outfits, artwork, blankets, and my first book bag.

ETA she even kept the positive pregnancy test for a long time!

My mom kept my coming home outfit, a few keepsake type things like a porcelain cup and dish, a huge chicken wall hanging from the nursery and a blanket that her aunt crocheted for me. She gave them to me before LO was born. I use the wall hanging as a tummy time blanket and the crochet blanket for the car seat.

Just about everything.. really. I wish she'd get rid of it because she keeps asking when I can come and take it.
I live in a rental with no storage and have a DS, not DD :::sigh:::

A lot of my stuff was passed on to cousins. I have my baby hat and blanket. What's really hilarious is I opened up a box of hand-me-downs from my aunt, and halfway through the box there was an old outfit of mine! It's 25'years old, but still in great condition lol.

LO will be wearing DHs christening dress (back then boys wore dresses? Whatever I'm going with it!)

I think most of my stuff went to my younger cousins. I kept some of my porcelain dolls until a couple years ago when I finally sold them. I have saved almost everything of Liam's to use if we have another boy, but I also have a special box where I put some keepsake items like his hat from the hospital and his baptism outfit.

I think there was a dress and two pairs of bloomers my mom gave me- but most of it has yellowed with age. She kept a dress my sister wore as a baby, and my sister's daughter just wore it to Christmas! that was neat.

I'm putting away a few favorite pieces of clothing for J, but more for if we have another kid. We'll see if they last until he's older!

My mom saved a lot of my things, but unfortunately she was a victim of the Nashville flood in 2010. Most of the stuff in her (finished) basement was lost, and that's where it all was. Thankfully I had some of the more important things with me, like the teddy bear my dad got me when I was 3 days old. I don't know what, if anything, my dad still has. Except my awesome train. He still has that for sure, but I think that's mostly because he enjoyed it as much as I did!

@twodoghouse: we did a clean out at her place and another at our place! talk about annoying. out of the 30+ bags of clothes we kept a drawer full of ones that were in good, wearable condition and a few pairs of nearly brand new shoes that were cute for special occasions. we have books and a frame of a prayer that was in dh's nursery that we put in ds' nursery too. but most of that stuff was old and nassssssssty.

A lot of books and our American Girl dolls. Also some school assignments and crafts that we made.

My MIL kept EVERYTHING from my husband's childhood and is trying to give it ALL to us now. Which is nice for some things that are still useful or in good shape (like a million legos) but some things we just do not want/need. For instance, she tried to send my husband home with her 29 year old maternity clothes the other day as a surprise for me....even though she's a good 4-5 inches taller than me and a completely different body type! :)

The oldest thing I have is a dress I wore as a toddler, the blanket I came home in and the outfit I wore. I have to put them in shadow boxes, they're all handknit things.

I have my Barbie Dream House, the 1979 edition, in orange and yellow. I have almost all of the pieces plus the Barbies and the clothes.

I also have my Cabbage Patch Kids, from 1981, I think. I don't know what to do with those, because they're well loved and it shows.

I have boxes of "memorabilia" as my mom calls it, mostly from high school.

From my early childhood definitely nothing as they moved to America. But nothing from my childhood either as we moved a lot and lived in small apartments. Would be cool to be able to see some of my childhood things, but I honestly haven't really saved anything of Charlie and Olive's. Pictures will have to suffice!

Did your parents save anything from your childhood? Are you saving anything of your LO's for when they have their own kids?
