Yes. It's sort of the opposite that it was pre-pg. I am hoping it goes back to normal!

@swurlygurl: The same. Although I assume mine hasn't come back full force because I am still nursing? I only nurse at night and in the mornings but I don't really know if that has made a difference.

My cycle went from 27 to 24 days and my period is lighter. Pre-baby I was a super tampon girl and now I'm a regular tampon and panty liners gal. My cramps have eased up--I can actually take an OTC painkiller and it works! I was on prescription painkillers for my period pre-baby.

It's still hell, though!

My first period postpartum was a massacre! They went back to normal after that one, but I was seriously thinking about rushing to the ER with that one, until others on here told me their first ones were scary, too.

I've been on some form of BC since having LO a year ago. On a combo pill, it's back to its normal spotting like "period." I'll have a better answer for this when I go off of it.

Almost made this gold, but if some rando is going to snoop on me, then they get to read this too :)

Before baby, my period was VERY heavy, lasted 8 days, and came with cramps as bad as labor pains for the first day (I can actually say that now!). This was the light version after going on the pill. I originally went on birth control before I was even sexually active because it was SO bad (vomiting for a couple days because of the pain)

This is only my third cycle since I quit breastfeeding, but now it is so opposite. Lasts maybe 4 days, ZERO cramping, and if I was to measure volume, I wouldn't even fill a whole tampon (gross, sorry!). I have tested twice each period to see if I was pregnant because it is just so weird. They keep coming up negative, but I never believe the first test so I do it again.

Anyone else have drastically different periods? I feel like a crazy person for testing (TWICE!) while I'm on my period, but seriously body, wtf?!
