It was a tiny kitchen- pretty much non existent- and she wanted to charge us $100 more! </p> <p>We left and found somewhere else the same price. Then lost that place... When my bro lived in Stuy Town his rent went up SO much every year. It was insane. After a few years they gave up and bought in Jersey.</p> <p>My aunt lives in midtown and is rent controlled. AND she's lived in the same apartment for 50 years. It's insane how cheap her rent is. We expected it though because of the way they "promised" us it would never happen... it seemed sketchy.
