Yes. LO#2 is rolling, sitting, crawling, and trying to pull up months ahead of LO#1. Big sister is super verbal and was born just shy of 37 weeks though...and LO#2 isn't talking at 8 month so it's hard to know how that'll go. She's noisy and a pretty good communicator in general though!

No. LO1 was on time or early for motor skills. LO2 was ever so slightly slower, but she was also born at 37+2, so I don't know how much that plays into it. However, at 13 months LO2 has way more words than LO1 did at the same age.

Yes! DD2 has been blowing these milestones out of the water! DD1 was on the later end for a lot or her milestones, but that's just her personality - she's always been cautious and wants to know she can do something before she attempts it. DD2 is on the very early end for all of her milestones so far, but again, I think it's just personality. She is a determined baby who wants to keep up with her big sister!

Yes! DS#1 has met all his milestones much earlier than DD. So far DS#2 is about in the middle between the older two.

No. So far all of the milestones have been hit a month or two later than DS1. I don't mind because that buys me some time before I have to chase both of them.

DD1 was pretty early with her milestones so no, not for everything. DD2 walked at 10 months, though, so she beat big sis at that by a mile.

Yes so far, unless teeth is a milestone. Was holding head up, sitting up, crawling, cruising, almost walking probably 2 months earlier for each milestone than DS. And he was pretty spot on with his milestones too!

So far yes LO2(H) is reaching milestones faster than LO1(S) did. S started sitting up at 8 months, H at 5. S was crawling at 9 mos, H at 6. S walked at 12mos and 3 days, H at 10mos and 5 days.

@regberadaisy: Nope! She was so entertained by DS and he brought her everything she needed & wanted. She only started truly crawling in the last month and she turned 1 last week. But now that's she's crawling she is cruising, pulling up and trying to stand by herself. It's like a switch went off.
