Yes! DD2 was super interested even before she turned two. At 2 years 3 months, she's doing well with a relaxed approach to daytime training (and is usually dry at nap, as well). I wouldn't have trained at all, but it was clear we had an early window. DD1 trained after 2.5, and wasn't super willing!

DD is far from trained but she loves sitting on the potty in the morning and before bed. No harm in that she gets accustomed to it through the course of the next year.

I think a month later. It took her a little longer to get the hang of it.

LO2 started showing interest earlier, like around 18 months. He would sometimes tell us if he had to poop and actually go on the toilet and would pee most of the time he sat on the toilet. It was mid winter and he was not consistent so we didn't train then. We waited until the weather warmed up a bit and officially trained just after he turned 2. LO1 trained just before turning 2 so they were just about the same age but we probably could have gotten LO2 trained sooner.

DD1 trained at 2.5. DD2 is 18 months and will pee when set on the potty before bath and such, but I'm in zero rush to actually lose the diapers.

I don't think it is a bad idea to make sure they are comfortable on the potty before you actively train, which is why we always do it right before bath.

This kid is going to train later, I'm afraid. We started training both kids slowly, once they could sit. DS rolled with it and was almost trained by 18 months, and out of diapers by two. DD now... she's one, and now that she's mobile, she cannot sit on the potty. She jumps off, sets up next to it, and starts to take it apart. She's perfectly happy being in diapers, and until that changes I think we won't get anywhere :crying:

Nope, DD trained at 22/23 months. 3 day method. It was easy peasy.

DS is almost 2.5 and we have been training him slowly (as in, DH and I have not been good about taking him potty and paying attn to his cues bc we have our hands full with 3 kids 3 and under). He understands and was on a roll but sometimes we forget and life is just easier right now with pullups...... It's on my to do list :)

My pediatrician mentioned sitting my dd2 on the potty. She's 19 months. Getting ahead of yourself, lady!! 😂

I'm not ready to dive back into potty training (potty trained my dd1 last fall through spring).

Did your second potty train sooner? Later?
