Labor started at 10 pm (our bedtime) so we were both up all night and he couldn't wait to get some sleep in! I actually ended up going to the hospital and getting sent home around 4 am and then going back quickly at 5.... he tried so hard to not sound disappointed that I wanted to go back. But he wanted to sleep! Yet obviously I didn't care what he wanted. I was in pain, I wanted meds. DH was at work until 1. Then we had to go by the doctor and drive to the hospital. It was the middle of the night and we had been up all day while I was laboring at home. I had a really labor so I did not mind that he was sleeping.
