I had GD, so had to go to them starting at 34 weeks. A couple happened to be on his day off so he came with me. They were mostly boring, but one of the days we were there we had a nurse who was super chatty, and gave us lots of good info - better than the childbirth class we paid $$ for. He was kinda jealous when I sent him a little video of listening to the heartbeat. He loved using our doppler so it was cool for him to go to the NSTs. But of course he had to work too. DH came to all of them. One NST was because baby stopped moving, the remaining were because I was overdue and not progressing naturally. I just sat there and drank water.
