He was very worried and stressed because I was far from my usual self during contractions. It took a very big toll on him, recovery seemed to be just as much for him as for me. </p> <p>He did say one great one today though- we took Cam to his 2 week well-baby check up, at the scale we ran into a toddler who was obsessed with the baby. My husband, who is a vet asked the little girl if she wanted to pet the baby. I'm glad it didn't come to that. I fell while I was in labor and I had to yell at DH to stop worrying about it after they said baby and I were fine. He kept asking me if I was ok over and over and it was getting on my nerves. And then he became one of them. First he sat there watching the computer which showed when I had contractions and he told me when I was having one. Like I couldn't tell. Then after I gave birth he told (and still tells ) people that it was easy for me because I only pushed for an hour. Yes, compared to other people, especially those who go natural, it was easy.
