He's obsessed with DD, who is merely a month old, and wants a billion of her clones. His words.</p> <p>Adoption is on the table for # 2 if we can swing the finances, but I could see myself having more biological children, eventually. However, not any time, real soon! Granted, I loved being pregnant (save for a horrific first trimester of sickness, but that seems like decades ago), my body bounced back quickly (vain, but admittedly was a fear of mine), and had a pretty easy l&amp;d (the aftermath of a botched epi was tough, though). LO is a mellow gem of a newborn, but I have a feeling # 2 will be a little gremlin to make up for it. </p> <p>My husband is insane, though. AGH! He said that he wants kids close in age and, although he doesn't think we should start yet (damn right!) he wanted to start the dialogue now...</p> <p>I loved being pregnant but delivery was truly harrowing, postpartum was dreadful and having a newborn is harder than I ever imagined. Number 2 couldn't be further from my mind!!!!!! I think he is barking mad! </p> <p>Who started talking about number 2 first? How soon were you talking about it? </p>
