Thanks for starting this thread - as I near the end of my first trimester, I've been getting a little bit worried about the lack of symptoms!

I'm 10.5 weeks and have noticed in the past week or so that certain symptoms seem to be going away and it's freaking me out a bit. I feel almost normal now, although I've been fortunate so far and didn't have that rough of a first trimester. Bizarrely, the fatigue and breaking out seems to have increased in the past week or so but everything else seems to be going away.

Can't wait for my 13 week scan to make sure everything is ok. In the meantime, it's reassuring to hear that others experienced a lessening of symptoms around this time.

Thanks for the responses!! I still have sore boobs and my tummy is really sticking out (and I have had so many good doctor's appointments!) So I'm not freaking out, but it's just weird to be feeling better!

@cvbee - cannot wait for those kicks!!

I'm at 18 weeks now and I'd say it's been gradual. That is from everyday nausea to maybe 1-2x a week depending on what I eat. Eating has improved though. I can't eat everything in sight and I never eat to fullness but it's much better than before where I would feel sick immediately after eating. My face cleared up too. I was so tired in the 1st Trimester that I neglected all household chores & practically slept whenever I could. Now, I can stay up a little longer and am starting to do light chores again (ie. washing dishes) However, I should also say that now in the 2nd Trim, I've started noticing new ailments such as headaches & leg cramps! =T Peeing seems to be an ongoing problem but I've also been trying to drink more water/seltzer.

I'm 12 weeks now and I'm feeling a LOT better than I was. I still have some mild food aversions but nothing as bad as it was before. My breasts aren't hurting anymore and I have my energy back! I'd say they definitely subside, even if they don't disappear.

Most of my symptoms went away during the 2nd trimester. I wasn't worried because they didn't disappear all at one time. One week my morning sickness subsided, then after that, my skin started to clear up. Midway through, I started to feel less tired. The only symptom that hasn't gone away, is having to pee. But I've always had to pee alot even before I was pregnant.

My symptoms have been slowly going away. Now at 16 weeks, I have had some nights of not getting up to pee....maybe the last symptom. I agree that it is slightly concerning, but I have my appointment on Monday so hearing the heartbeat will make me feel better. And soon we'll have baby kicks to keep us feeling confident, eh?!

My really bad, all day nausea and vomiting went away around 18 weeks. I still have milder nausea at night though (21 weeks now). I never had an appetite in the first tri, but now I do. Boobs also started getting less sore right around the end of the first tri. I still get up to pee a ridiculous amount at night and I'm bummed that one hasn't subsided.

I had my appetite back in the second, and my boobs were less sore, but I was just as tired, maybe more, (which may be more due to my new job),

My symptoms mostly did, and that's why I loved the 2nd trimester so much! I've heard similar things from other moms before, too.

I'm starting to panic for similar reasons, but have a dr appt tomorrow. Since the miscarriages I've been scared the entire time. My boobs still hurt but my nipples aren't really as sore and I have almost stopped puking (down from 10 or more times a day) totally panicking, but trying to stay calm.

My morning sickness went away at 10 weeks, which did freak me out since that's early. I got really bad migraines that lasted until the middle of the 2nd trimester. I was very happy when that ended!

I still pee just as often, if not more. My MS went away mostly, but I would still get randomly sick (I haven't for a while now though!). I am probably more hungry now! Boob soreness comes and goes. Once you can feel the baby move, that is how you know nothing is wrong :) But until then, you just have to trust that everything is ok.

Curious! If you had morning sickness, did it go away? If you were super hungry did that subside? Did your boobs get less sore? Less peeing?

I'm 13.5 weeks - I slept through the night the last few nights (usually get up to pee 2-3x a night!) so that was a blessing. My boobs are still sore, but maybe just maybe less sore? I'm still pretty hungry but maybe that's getting better too?

If your symptoms went away, how did you not freak out that something was wrong? Silly question, because I know that symptoms generally subside in the second trimester. But still...
