We are 2 weeks in and my 20 mo hasn't missed a beat! He mostly ignores the existence of his little sister, but occasionally stops to give her a kiss or something. They are 2.5 years apart. He had a difficult transition at first since we were no longer able to give him our undivided attention. It took about a week for him to adjust and figure out this whole baby living with our family thing. DS1 is so sweet towards DS2. A little interested and curious but mostly just in his own world. </p> <p>E has two little friends who we are close with, they have had siblings first and I think E has been observing carefully. She use to be jealous when I would hold babies but not anymore. It isn't too bad but he wants mommy all the time which is challenging when I am nursing E. I have a lot of help so when I am done nursing E I make a point to play with N. Also I have N read to E and myself while I am nursing, that way he feels included.
