Ya, it's starting on our end too. He's exhausted but doesn't want to go to bed. And if we put him down at the regular time, he wakes up at 1-3 jumping in his crib and doesn't want to go back to bed. I clearly don't know what to do. yes he's teething... but to what point do i let him do what he wants?

We've been staying flexible for the past two weeks since the crazy tantrums started. It's actually worked really well, because our solution was to ask him if he wanted to climb the stairs all by himself, and it would take several tries but he would eventually go up the stairs and sometimes we'd be putting him down as late as 8 or 8:30. But we just did not want a huge tantrum right before bed... and there was still a chance of a tantrum during bath time. Now that he's getting a little better, we still do the up-the-stairs method but he agrees to go up a little earlier each time. Now we're pretty much back to a 7:15ish bedtime.

Lately, Charlie has been asking for a later bedtime! Usually we put him down down around 7:30, but for the past two days he has insisted on a later bedtime. Ordinarily we might have had him cry it out, but he is teething and coping with a new baby sister, so we cut him a break.

Did your toddler's bed time ever move around? How did you handle it?
