Then a few days later he looked at my belly and then at me and said ".... it's in there already?" </p> <p>He's since come up with lots of ideas about how it will come out. Thankfully he hasn't straight up asked me how it gets out because I'm not sure I'm ready for that conversation yet. He gets it on some level. He figured out that the baby is going to have to come out at some point because he said we could use scissors to cut the baby out. I told him the doctor would take the baby out and he said the doctor could use scissors. And he randomly talks about the baby and seems curious. I showed her some drawings in one of the pregnancy books of the baby inside the momma's tummy and that really made things seem to click more for her. I try to talk to her about how she'll share with baby. </p> <p>I've been really surprised she recognizes some of her baby stuff from when she was little - she gets very insistent MINE!!! when she sees it, I have no idea how she remembers, they are stored at my parents in a closet, so we talk about sharing with baby and she just kind of stares at me.
