<description>&#60;p&#62;I didn't vote and haven't ever done so. In past elections my reason was that I didn't know enough about issues/candidates to make an informed choice. Today I'm not voting for prez because I don't really like either of the big 2, plus everyone already knows which party rules in TX, so what's the point? I think voting is more important in local elections but I haven't done enough research to be educated about the choices. But I'm registered just in case I do decide I want to vote. And I don't agree that if you don't vote, you don't have the right to an opinion--that's just someone's opinion. :)

&#60;p&#62;I've voted in every election since I've been eligible, for a variety of reasons, first and foremost that it's my civic responsibility to stay informed and vote. A couple of my brothers refuse to vote, though. They tell  me (in a very patronizing way) how cute it is that I think my voice and vote matter. It makes me crazy.
