I had to get my roots done before my shoot, and while they were added I asked them to curl it for me. They did amazing. I did my own make up though. I'm SO glad i got my hair done because I SUCK at curling my own hair lol and she did so great. You seem very makeup savvy though &amp; you always look fab in your pics, so maybe for you it wouldn't be as important since you're good at it. I suck at prettying myself up, so when thd time comes, I will totally drop $100+ on hair &amp; MU. I have never paid for photos that I didn't have my makeup and hair done for. I kind of feel like if I am paying for pro pics, I might as well just suck it up and try to look as good as possible.</p> <p>I have contacted a few MUAs my photographer recommended, and it's looking like it's going to be around $100 for airbrushed makeup/lashes, and a "down-do" for my hair to look all perfectly tousled. </p> <p>Is this excessive for a maternity shoot? Did you have yours done? Would you?</p> <p>Another thing is that it makes life SO EASY when someone else handles the "getting ready" part...Especially that early in the morning...She would just come to my house and I could sit there and be lazy.
