Yes, he pulls right off to look at whatever is exciting, even in a darkened room. But I think I also have supply issues or he has sucking issues so it could be that he doesn't have enough incentive to focus.

DD is 8mo & SO distracted these days. We are back to long nursing sessions because of her distraction & now nursing on both sides, where she used to do only a quick ~7min feeding. I can't do anything but sit quietly for fear of feeding the distractions. It was cute for a day, but now I need to get stuff done!

Oh yes. She likes to whip her head around (still latched! ow!) when she hears noises.

Yes! It started around 6 months! She will nurse around other people, but hates being covered! So that makes things awkward for me when she pulls the cover off! I normally try to go into a quiet room.

DD is starting to be! If she hears loud noises or music or I try to move from room to room with her while she's latched, she will stop sucking and just stay latched while her eyes zoom around.

DS was also super distracted and a terrible nurser til he was over 1!

DS1 was always about the milk! It didn't matter where I was or who might be around, he just wanted to eat! :P

DS2 is constantly looking around, pulling me as his eyes wander while nursing during the daytime! I just deal with it though instead of moving to a quiet area. He is at least able to finish his session, aside from a few attempts to get him focused!
