All my friends &amp; my ex smoked, most still do. I wouldn't even smoke a whole cigarette most of the time. I did on my wedding day though, I had been waiting for ILs to show for two hours, I was really stressed out! She told us that she quit while we were in middle school and I caught her smoking a year or so later. Turns out she had just decided to hide it. She still smokes, and I think it's a pretty gross habit. Well, I used to, prior to becoming pregnant. Mainly when I would go out drinking with girlfriends. I'd smoke a cigarette or two a month. When we were still dating DH told me that 1 of 3 things was going to have to happen:</p> <p>1) He's start-up (unacceptable, though I don't think he would have)<br /> 2) We'd split up (definitely unacceptable)<br /> 3) I'd quit</p> <p>I would still sporadically smoke, mostly when I was drinking out with friends, and he never cared so long as I wasn't buying packs anymore. Those sporadic smokes (a few a month) got further apart as we TTC (maybe once a month, when I got my period). When I MC I smoked a full pack in a week (I also drank--a lot). My last cigarette was November 4th , 2011...the day I started my last period before I got pregnant with E. </p> <p>98% of the time I'm glad I'm not a smoker...I never realized how bad my hair and clothes smelled, and I spent a TON of money on them...but sometimes I have a bad craving for one. </p>
