My 19 mo old are one breakfast sausage, a Christmas cookie, candy cane, 2 chocolates, and 20 pickle slices on Christmas. No joke. He has a cold and is getting canines. But still.

I think a lot of the food refusal on our end is teeth. He did it with each molar and now canines. But I think it happens before I realize the tooth is in.

It's a phase. DD goes threw food strikes every few weeks and only wants to nurse. It takes ALL my will power to remain patient after a toddler marathon nursing day.

Me, me, me! My toddler has been on strike for MONTHS!! He'll only eat fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cheese, bacon, certain noodles, and green smoothies. I hope he gets over this soon.

So how do we get outta this mess? Just keep offering variety in different forms and wait for the phase to pass?

DD has started to refuse meals, even with foods she normally loves. She will eat an ok breakfast and the literally eats two bites at the other meals. We don't even give her snacks because she just doesn't seem hungry. She would eat bread and toast all day if she could but obviously we want her to eat more balanced. She still poops and pees regularly which baffles me. She seems happy for the most part and doesn't seem to be getting any more teeth.

Please tell me its a phase.
