I just find it so much easier to put them to bed. I can nurse my DD or lay with her and pat her then just roll away and she stays asleep. No transferring her to a crib.</p> <p>You can give it a try by just putting the crib mattress on the floor. She was waking all through the night and asking to sleep on the couch. My mom suggested that maybe she was cramped in her crib and feeling confined by the crib slats (hence the couch). He currently goes to sleep easily but wakes up in the night and we bring him to our bed. I'd love him to sleep through. Not sure if the open bed would be better or worse... </p>
