Ok thanks ladies! I'll just leave it as is so we don't have to deal with two types of diapers unnecessarily :)

i was using pamper swaddlers overnight and my baby started STTN about a month ago (he is almost 3 months now). However, last week DH bought the ones that say "baby dry, 12 hour protection" as opposed to the ones with the wetness indicator and so we've been using those. I can't say they are necessarily better for you, but we were also dealing with a persistent rash and it cleared up within 2 days of switching to these diapers! they say on the box that there are 3 layers instead of 2 that absorbs everything hence why they last longer. I am definitely making a permanent switch!

If he's not leaking, I wouldn't worry about it. You'll know if you need to change. I'm pretty sure my son pees his own weight every night, so we have to use them.

I've never used overnight diapers on my dd. so far so good (22 months). I plan on using overnight pull-ups once we potty train though

I wouldn't worry about it until he leaks out of them. LO was totally fine in Swaddlers or Cruisers overnight until around a year or so? Then he peed too much for then and would be wet in the morning, so we went to overnights. Once you do use them, go one size up!

She will be 1 in march and we still use pampers swaddlers overnight. I think it's just a case by case thing. If he's not leaking, then I wouln't worry to much.

I stopped changing LO's diaper in the MOTN about a week ago. I've just been using his regular pampers swaddlers, but should I be using a special "overnight" diaper? He's not leaking out of his pampers, but I don't know if an overnight diaper would be more comfortable for him. What do you guys do/when did you start using overnight diapers? He's 16wks.
