yup charlie outgrew his graco snugride way before he hit the weight limit. they'll outgrow it heightwise before they outgrow it weightwise so i'd go with a lower weight limit too.

We have a snugride (original maybe) that came with our travel system, and a 35. I haven't used either yet, but they both seem about the same weight/material to me.

We have the Snugride 35, which had really great safety reviews. It does have higher quality snaps and latches, but it is sooooo heavy. My LO is tiny for his age, and I know there is no way he will be sitting in the Graco when he is 35 lbs. We are in the market for a convertible car seat soon, but we have loved using our Graco for the last 8.5 months.

Thanks ladies! I appreciate the feedback. We went to BRU and looked in person today. We did like that the 35 seemed to have higher quality snaps and latches and just seemed sturdier. I definitely realized that the duoglider double stroller is super heavy though! So I think we're going to be going with just the double stroller frame instead for the weight factor :)

I would suggest the smallest possible because they get really heavy with baby inside. I had the 35, but you'll never get up to 35 lbs-- 35 lbs plus the weight of the seat itself is WAY too heavy to lift!! When RJ hit 18 or so lbs, we had to switch to a convertible because I just couldn't lift him in the seat anymore. I'm going to get a new one for the next baby-- smaller seat = lighter!!

We have the 22 since I knew we weren't going to be using it as a snap-n-go nor were we planning on using it for very long (my car we already ditched it and went to a convertible one). I'm personally not a big fan of infant car seats BUT I have no issues with the Graco ones.

We are pretty sure we will be getting the Graco Duoglider double stroller for our babes. So I think the Graco Snugride car seats are our main option for car seats. Overall, they seem pretty widely used and fair rated, but there's also a ton of models!

Does anyone have a snugride and have feedback on it, or know what the differences bewteen the original snugride and the 22, 30, 32, 35 models that I've seen on amazon? We want to make sure we get something easy to use and safe, but a good price is a factor since we have to buy two!
