Just an update, we ended up grabbing a Britax B Safe and B Agile travel system on Amazon's week of deals. The difference between them in so huge! This car seat is easy to get on and off the stroller base and snaps securely on the first try. It also is a more compact system. I don't know why we even debated returning the other one. Such a relief!

If I was doing it all over again I’d get a bob and a graco click connect infant bucket seat and a car seat adapter for the bob. They’re super easy to fold and unfold and put the car seat in and out of. I currently have a double bob with a snack tray/car seat adapter for my graco click connect bucket seat. If you’re already having issues with it and your kiddo isn’t here yet then I’d for sure ditch it.

So my husband seems to have found the trick to getting it out. I can get it 50/50 but it's still not always secure when you snap it in. I'm going to practice it a little more and sleep on it, but we're still debating.

We picked this one because it is light weight and one hand fold. Being due in winter I could see not needing the stroller for a few months at first, but we do a lot of street festivals and park walks a lot with our pup. Baby will be small and probably stay on a small curve. We're definitely open to a separate car seat and stroller with an adaptor but this seemed like a good deal and convenient.

Don't be afraid of buying a gently used nice stroller! That's what we did and the bugaboo that we bought used is still going strong 2 years later.

Take it back!!! You don't want to be dealing with that when the baby is here. Either get a cheap snap and go frame, or a travel system that is super easy for you to fold and snap in and out. We picked our system primary based on the ease of snapping the seat in and out and folding the stroller (Chicco keyfit and Chicco Bravo stroller). The stroller is just ok (kind of heavy and 2 years later doesn't steer great) but it was easy to use.

I vote returning it. As far as what to buy, what's your lifestyle like? What are the babies in your family like? We grow big babies and by 6 months I couldn't carry the kid in his infant car seat. We also didn't use our stroller until 9 months. It was so much easier to use the Tula. For us, the cheap Graco car seat and the City Mini stroller were a far better bet. There's a adaptor, but we didn't need it because we carried him everywhere

I'd recommend getting the stroller you want, the car seat you want, and then an adapter to marry the two.
You don't *have* to get a travel system. Whats your budget and what is important to you? We could make some reccmendations.

Return it now. The carseat and stroller will be one of the things you use the most, and so you want to make sure it's exactly what you want.

I would return it. As above posters said if it's bad now it will only get worse.

Amazon usually runs some great deals on black Friday. I loved our chicco key fit and you can either look at a chicco stroller, buy an adaptor for many of the other stroller brands, or just get a infant seat caddy and then decide on an actual stroller when your little is bigger. (You can usually find the caddys cheap used 😊)

From what you’ve said, I would definitely return it. Any problem you have in your living room will be magnified by 1000 in a parking lot with a baby in the seat and will stress. You. Out.

@starchild: I don't have experience with that system but if you're having problems now I would return it and get something else. It will just become a bigger struggle.

I have an older click connect system (DD1 is 4) and yeah, I've been hating on it with DD2. I struggle to disconnect it from the base (sometimes I get it 'just right' but often I am just yanking with no results until it goes flying up). From the stroller is worse...some frustrating 'is it ever going to release' experiences in parking lots. I'm not going to worry about it since this is our last and their time in the infant seat is relatively short, but it may be worth you looking into alternatives. Ymmv.

We registered for a Graco Aire3 travel system with click connect car seat. We just got it and went to set it up tonight, and wow it's difficult to get the car seat snapped in and out of the stroller base. Sometimes it doesn't even seem like it is clicked in securely, and I still can't get the car seat off the stroller smoothly. To be clear, I would have dumped the baby for how hard I had to yank it off, and every time I hold my breath that nothing on it snapped. I went back to reviews, and it seems like in the last three months the number of negative reviews have multiplied compared to when we registered for it. I'm also reading that the brakes are breaking repeatedly after a few months. We really like it in theory, but now we're hesitant to keep it. Some people updated reviews that they sort of get the hang of the connect after a while but that it's never quite smooth. I'm a little worried about the brakes now. There were a few negative reviews with these issues previously, but it seems like the negative reviews have gotten much more frequent.

Anyone have one of the Graco travel systems that can share experiences?

We were also thinking it would be easier to return it now before she's born than deal with having to get a new car seat (travel system) and everything later if the brakes do go in a few months. But still a hassle and honestly not even sure what we'd get instead.
