@shellio: thanks for your reply. This is exactly what I was looking for. We have like the same situation. We have the Britax Marathon for my older son and I want to buy the Diono to move him into and move my younger into the Marathon. We are also thinking about 3 kids so I want to buy something that works with 3 across. That probably explains the price too because earlier this week I saw it for $265 and I thought this price was a Black Friday deal. I will probably buy it and since I get the 5% with my Target card it will be even cheaper. Thanks again.

We have this seat. Bought it recently for our large (38 lb) 2 year old to replace his Britax Boulevard. We love it, it is much easier to get him in/out of. The original plan was to move his baby bro (12 mos old now) into the Britax but we like the Radian so much, we just bought another one and plan to sell the boulevard on craigslist. Its perfect because we are hoping for a third soon, and they will fit three in a row. This is a great deal, I've been watching them for a few mos and this is by far the cheapest I've seen. I suspect that the 2015 model is coming out and they are trying to unload the old ones. The price might go down even more, but I decided not to wait anymore.

If you're interested, there is a description of each color on the Diono website, they use different fabrics so it goes a little beyond cosmetics. I think it was under comparison chart maybe?

FYI - you can get the radian (and other items too) from amazon for 10-15% off if you have them on your baby registry there. You can fulfill the completion discount every 8 mos, although you must have had the registry in place for 2 weeks before fulfilling. Change your due date and add the items you want to the registry (like this car seat which you will get a killer deal on), then add them all to cart via "registry completion" link. 15% off is for amazon prime/amazon mom members.

I saw this price at Target. This seems like a good deal, right?

Also wondering for people that have this seat, do you like it?
