I use a 3D hanging wetbag--a huge one--from rumparoos. They're under $20 bucks and hold days worth of diapers.

Awesome! You guys have convinced me to try a wetbag and trashcan along with bac-out
@merryc: My diapers are made from a SAHM in the area, so no warranty to worry about. Thanks for the heads up though - great to know for the future if I ever get others.

we use large planetwise wetbags. i haven't really noticed much of a stink as long as i scrape out any major poop (and it's in our main living space, so I would def notice). anything foul, I put in the spare wetbag in the laundry room.

I definitely LOVE bac out, but just a heads up, using it will void your warranty on cotton babies diapers (bum genius, flip, econobum) because of the enzymes. But if you're past the first year or don't care about the warranty, spray away :)

We have a regular Hefty step can with pail liners. We have one Mommy's Touch and one Whammies (my favorite). So far we've used the little baking soda disks to cut downton stink and we spray all poopys with Bac-Out. The Whammies liners have a tab specifically for drops of essential oils, so I think I'm going to get another one of those and start using the EOs.

Here's a picture. Today is wash day. Sorry for airing my dirty laundry (literally), but you can see the tab on the Whammies this way.

@ohapostrophe: I've wondered about Bac-Out. Glad to hear an opinion about it...
I wasn't sure if it really worked, or if it was one of those things people just get sucked into buying because they think they need it. I'll give it a try!!

I use a Simple Human trash can lined with a Kissaluvs pail liner. I wash every 2-3 days and I can't smell anything! I do dump LO's solid poops into the toilet before I put her #2 diapers in there.

We use a diaper decor with a planet wise pail. I've heard great things about bac out, too.

Have you tried using something like bac-out on your diapers? We spray each dirty one with a few sprays of bac-out before tossing it into the pail and it really stops the smell. We use a simple human lidded trash can with a washable pail liner, and I also have a arm&hammer baking soda disc in there that helps as well.

What oh what do you guys do with your dirty (#1 and #2) cloth diapers between washes. Pictures or links would be helpful...

I go 2 days between washes, and cannot find a system that doesn't make the whole top floor stink (washer's on top floor too, so keeping them in garage or something wouldn't make sense).

I've tried:
*5 gallon plastic bucket with lid (kind of like the orange ones from Home Depot)
*Large drawstring canvas bag that I threw in the washing machine with the diapers
*Several small wetbags with zippers that I can throw in the laundry room as each gets full

So far the best is the small wetbags, but they're still not a great option.
