She eats Gentlease, so we're already using the broken down formula. She doesn't seem to have any issues with it, so I'm guessing the discharge is unrelated.</p> <p>@regberadaisy: She's almost 5 weeks. She had a little blood at like 5 days old, but nothing like that since. I think that is from mom's hormones in her system, but she's not getting any of my hormones or anything anymore. There is a nurses' line, but I feel silly calling over a non-emergency. I remember them saying discharge even a little bloody is completely normal after delivery their hormones are regulating and almost like getting a period.</p> <p>I remember m getting a mucousy blood tinged discharge. It was gone after a day. </p> <p>If you're worried I would call your ped. Does dairy intolerance always cause fussiness? I'm lactose intolerant, so it could be possible that she is too. Not sure if the boy/girl difference matters in that. Try not to worry girlfriend ! It was like snot consistency. Has anyone experienced this? Is it probably an infection? :( </p>
