We got a Bosch 300 series last year and really like it. The buttons are hidden out of the way, and I use the third rack a lot. I’ve also appreciated the adjustable height second rack.

I am super happy with our Whirlpool Gold dishwasher. We’ve put it to work for 7 years and it still looks and performs beautifully. Smooth racks and it can hold a lot of dishes. I really love the controls on the top of the door, away from little fingers. And we use the delayed wash feature so much more than I expected - I don’t know how standard that is but it’s something I will look for whenever we do replace it down the line.

@LemonJack: We ended up getting a free old one to use while we waited, which ended up being a very good decision. Though if we just bought something they had in stock, we would have been fine too.

@JennyPenny: @ilovepie: Ugh, great. With three kids, we run the dishwasher a lot. Being without won’t be fun.

We recently bought a new dishwasher and the best advice we got was to take our dishes to the store and see how they fit. It was so useful! We had been interested in a Bosch based on reviews, but our silverware didn't fit in the special top rack! It would have been very disappointing to learn that after the fact. We ended up going with an LG because our dishes fit nicely in it and it had features we wanted. But, like @ilovepie mentioned, getting this ordered can be a challenge right now. We ordered at the end of Feb with a March delivery date. It ended up coming in July.... So if you need it now and don't want to deal with any possible delays, something in stock would be a big benefit.

Oh and agreed that the third rack is useless! I was excited about it but we never can find a use for it.

We just got a new one in March. We were between a kitchen aid and a Bosch and went with the kitchen aid because the rack space inside was bigger and we need all the space we can get! We also liked that the KA had buttons that were just flat / not tactile if that makes sense. On the Bosch we had at my work the space around the buttons got gross fast. But I will say if your dishwasher is old you’ll be in love with either! Our old one was 15+ years old and I’m blown away by how quiet the new one is and how much cleaner things get!

I've had 2 GE dishwashers in 2 different houses and have loved them both. My old one was a GE Pro series, and the one I have now is a GE Adora, I think. Both are fully integrated (controls on the inside edge) with stainless interiors, and my current one has the small 3rd rack for utensils, etc. It's quiet and cleans really well, so that makes me happy. :)

We have a Kitchenaid one with a third rack, and the third rack is fairly useless - I never use it. I tried it at the beginning with stemless wine glasses but they just ended up full of soapy water. I like the Kitchenaid - it's super quiet, and things come out dry. The cycle seems like it takes a really long time, though.

We have this LG dishwasher with a third rack: https://www.homedepot.com/p/LG-Electronics-24-in-Top-Control-Built-In-Smart-Dishwasher-in-Stainless-Steel-with-QuadWash-TrueSteam-3rd-Rack-42-dBA-LDT7808SS/308727665

We first bought one in our old house and loved it so much when we moved we bought another of the same for the new house. The third rack is perfect for bottle and sippy cup parts, that is the reason we went with it the first time since our first was bottle fed. We also like that it has steam so that we can sterilize the bottle parts when washing them.

Anything that's available! Dishwashers are back ordered like crazy right now. I planned on ordering a Bosch 500 or 800 but once I looked at them in store I really liked the top line kitchen aid better so we went with that. I ordered it a month ago. It was supposed to come last week but is now pushed back another month.

We have a Bosch and really like it. It doesn't have a third rack. I think we have the most basic model, it works great!

We are doing the same, looking at Bosch models with a 3rd top rack. They all seem to have great reviews, and my sister pointed out that Bosch doesn’t put their labels on the front of their dishwashers, so it doesn’t matter if you don’t have a matching set of appliances (some people care about that). We have LG everything else, and we like it, but seems like Bosch for dishwashers are the way to go.

Our dishwasher died this week. We plan to buy a new one in a couple of weeks during Labor Day sales. Any recommendations? I’ve been looking at the Bosch 3000 series. It has great reviews, and the third rack seems like it would be useful for bottle and sippy cup parts.
