Oh no!!! Your poor LO

Disney replaced their disability assistance policy a few years ago and now it is much more difficult to get. People were really abusing the system, even "hiring" people with disabilities as guides to spend the day with them so they could skip lines

You could try speaking with Guest Services if you really think your Dd would have a hard time waiting in lines but generally a broken bone wouldn't qualify.
More info: http://wdwprepschool.com/guide-to-disability-access-service-das-at-disney-world/

Hope you have a wonderful trip, regardless! We will be there too next week - and I can't wait!

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter! Unfortunately they have done away with most handicap entrances because people were abusing it. My nephew is wheelchair bound. When we went three years ago they were beginning to phase it out, so I would say about 1/2 the rides we had to use a special entrance/line. However, when my sister went to Disney land this winter she said they just had to wait in line for all of the rides.

I don't know about a wrist injury. But a few years ago, Hubs and I went with a couple and the girlfriend has recently fractured her ankle. She was using crutches, but for being in the parks we rented a wheelchair from guest services. At most rides, we were taken up the exit and got to skip the lines. It was kind of awesome - we rode at least twice the amount of rides as we would have.

ETA: That stinks about your daughter! Hope she's not in too much pain and is still able to enjoy the parks!

We are heading to Disney this week and my daughter just broke her wrist. Someone told us we get to skip the lines at Disney now. Is that true? If so, how do I make this happen?!?

And now my poor daughter will have a cast at Disney :( the only thing calming her down is the thought of the princesses signing it :(
