What resort are you staying at? Could you take the monorail to get part of the way there instead of a bus the entire way?

Could you do the fireworks at a closer park (i.e., Epcot is walking distance from Beach/Yacht Clubs and has evening fireworks)

Another dumb question, but how to car seat laws vary from a Taxi versus an Uber. I dont think by law you have to have a car seat for a taxi but I can understand if you aren't comfortable with that.

Maybe a dumb question, but will you have a car? You could always just bring your car to the park that day. You'd have to pay for parking, but it'd definitely get you out of there quickly.

Just a tip, last time a friend did uber around disney it took forever because the driver wasn't familiar with the different park entrances and lots. I really dont know if I would consider it much faster.

@babynumber1: We use a travel vest on all of our trips. It might work with your 4 year old but it's pricy. Still LO2 can use it when he/she gets older. And I'm assuming resale will be strong. Mine held up really well.

We are going to Disney in April and I need some logistical help. We are traveling with our 8m and 4 year old. We want to stay for the fireworks one night, but bus transportation back to our Disney resort will take FOREVER and won't be worth the hassle. I have seen people UBER and get back to the resorts quickly, but how does htat work with small children. We can't lug car seats with us to the park.

Any great ideas?
