I would like to do all of the above! :)

But a real answer: I would do WDW at 2.5 because they are free under 3 and I think there's a lot for little ones at WDW if you don't feel like you have to do it all.

While I would do a Disney cruise at 2.5 too, the kids club is not free at that age and that is one of the biggest draws for the cruises for parents and kids.

I would wait till 4.5 at least for both.

I would rather do WDW at 4.5. I think a cruise is better, for kids and parents, when older. I would rather wait till she is older and we don't have to worry about naps and an early bedtime, since we would all be in one room.

We're going on a Disney cruise next year (LO will be around 3.5). She'll be potty trained and able to go to the kids club for free. We're going to do WDW at some point but probably not until she's around 6.

I am waiting to do a cruise when she is more like 7 and can enjoy some of the independence of a cruise (little bro would be like 4). Maybe a bit longer if we need to budget.

But for Disney, I would for sure go when 2.5/3.5. 2.5 would be great because still free!

We went to Disney World twice with DD. I say go now because your LO would be free up to 3 years old.

My friends went on a disney cruise and they loved it but its really pricey.

Don't get me wrong, I would do any of the above (except maybe the cruise at 2.5) but if I could only pick one it would be Disney World at 4.5. I don't think you can really go wrong though!

I haven't been on a Disney cruise yet, but I feel like we'd all get the best experience/bang for our buck when kids are older, like 7ish. Right now, there's no way my son would go with a bunch of strangers to a Kids Club.

I've been to WDW with my son at ages 2.75 and 3.75 and the experience has gotten better with age. For example, the first time, the characters were a complete no go. Second time, he was hugging them and posing for pictures like a little ham.

We did a Disney cruise this year and it was amazing (aside from us all getting sick). LO was only 16 months though so we couldn't take advantage of many of the amenities. I voted for Disney cruise at age 4.5 so that your LO can use the kids clubs, stay up late enough to see the shows, sit through the dinners, use the pools, and go on excursions without worrying about naptimes. We definitely plan to go back when our LO is older.

What would you prefer? Disney cruise or Disney World? 2.5 year old, 3.5 year old, or 4.5 year old?

Or something else entirely?
