@looch: @MrsADS: We decided not to do the Space Center this time. DH will barely recover from jet lag (he has to do a red eye) and I think well rested will make for a better time. So no Kennedy Center this time. Guess we will have t come back in five years!
Also we are now doing a split stay at the Art of Animation Little Mermaid room now so will be looking forward to that instead! Lots to look forward to though. Got all my favorites lined up.

@808love: Please report back on what you did at the Space Center. We're going for the day while on vacation next year and I haven't done a ton of research on it....you would have thought I might have looked at it, but I didn't lol.

Last year I went late Sept/early Oct and we just booked leisurely table service lunch during hot midday hours. Or went to indoor attractions. When LO was two and three we would just go to the hotel for a rest midday at Dland We are staying at AllStar Movies <LO will love the Dalmatians, DH Herbie, me-location> and then off site on points the last two nights. So we would only drive into the parks one day. Rather spend the limited money we have on what counts.

@808love so jealoussss. Where are you staying? We live 3 hours away. I went in Sept for 1 night to meet up with a friend - my first night away from DS (13 months). It was awesome. I want to go back, but still a little nervous about taking him with the heat and everything.

@808love: I'll write out more details later. I grew up there. So we went all the time. And back before there were rides and it was just a movie and a bus.

Yes you'll miss the pad but you just drive past it. It's just a really long wait for the bus and a long bus ride for little kids. It's basically driving around for 45 min listening to the driver point out a few buildings but a lot of flat swamp land.

@MrsADS: Girl, I had everything planned out and booked the second I could go online- about 66 days out, 1am my time since we are staying onsite this time around. I am that excited. And having everything set up makes me even more so! We booked flights before last Christmas so I have been looking forward all year. Thanks for the advice. Will follow it!
@T.H.O.U.: Will I miss the launch pad completely? Why have you been on it 100 times? Which new rides are the nearby Are we crazy to go only for half a day? Don't want to miss it but don't want to miss DW either so trying to have my cake and eat it too.

@808love both sides good for new Frozen ride  I think on the right side you may have a better view of the animatronics though! Hope you got a fastpass!

I would skip the bus ride. It takes a LONG time and its hard for kids to sit and listen to the driver for that long. I could be jaded though because I've done the bus tour 100 times.

The new rides are great though. Tons of space to run and climb.

We are going soon enough and just so excited. Not even Zika, alligators, radiation water or other tragedies can stop us. We have done Disney World recently so I think I just want to say yay!! Is there a good side to sit on the new Frozen ride? Also, planning to stop by NASA Kennedy Space Center for the first time. Any tips for the Space center? I have a 5 yr old who enjoys science. We are only going to be there a half a day so I have to condense it to the most important.
