@sandy: Thanks for the tips! a lot of the rides you mentioned I think will really appeal to my girl. I'm all about taking it easy and spending some quality time with my little family before we expand.

We took our 4.5 year old just a few weeks ago (I was 11 weeks and right in the midst of the all day nausea awfulness). We had a blast. I didn't go on many of the rides but I didn't mind at all. I went on the slow ones approved for pregnancy - jungle cruise, small world, adventure of the little mermaid, people mover, haunted mansion, pirates of the Caribbean (WDW doesn't have the big dips like in DL), etc). There was still a lot to do (tiki room, enchanted tales with belle, etc)

It was hot for sure but there were plenty of areas and opportunities to cool off and stay hydrated. And if it's just too hot and you're tired but don't necessarily want to leave the park to go back to the hotel you can always go to the first aid center and they have cots in the back where you can cool off and lay down. They are very kind.

If for some reason you're struggling to keep up and it's hard being on your feet all day in the heat you can also rent one of those electric scooters ($50 per day and you can park hop).

@Chillybear: Yea even at age 4.5, we said its great with DD because she has no expectations. So no meltdowns if we couldn't ride a certain ride because she didn't know that ride was even an option! We would use our phones to check the wait time and then tell her, hey lets walk over here, and then just tell her about the ride when we were actually in line!

@T.H.O.U.: thats what i'm hoping... with new baby on the way i know it will be at least 3 years before i would feel up to going to disney with both kids. right now her park ticket is free and i think there is so much magic at this age, even if she doesnt ride the amusements.

@Chillybear: Go!

They have regular water fountains for water bottle filling or you can ask for a fill up at a restaurant (but you have to wait in line). I tried to really hydrate the day/night before and the morning of. Any kiosk will also give you a cup of ice or ice water! Ideally though, we just threw 6-8 water bottles at the bottom of the stroller. It allowed us to refill when we were able to but also had water on hand if we couldn't find a fountain. We noticed at MK most water fountains seemed to be by the bathrooms. And most bathrooms are kinda tucked away not directly off the main walking path. So its not like you see water fountains every few feet but you can seek them out if needed.

We recently went in April when I was 22 weeks. There was only one point in the day between 2pm and 4pm that I felt like I was getting really hot and water wasn't cooling me down. We went and found some ice cream and that helped ;) We made it in the MK from rope drop (8:40am) until fireworks (10pm) and my phone said we walked about 13 miles. We booked a good sit down lunch (be our guest) and had a good sit down dinner (just counter service but at a table indoors).

@Chillybear: I don't think they have refill stations (I didn't see any) but you can ask for water for free at any restaurant or stand and they will give it to you. FWIW though, I found the water to be sort of gross so we brought bottled water most days. I had it shipped it from amazon straight to our hotel room and it was much cheaper than buying on site.

I wouldn't rent the disney strollers, they looked really uncomfortable for LOs. There are lots of companies that will rent better strollers though and deliver them to your hotel. We just brought ours since we were there for a longer trip. Here is some info about stroller rental:

@Chillybear: I got this support belt and really liked it. http://www.amazon.com/Gabrialla-Elastic-Maternity-Support-Medium/dp/B000ZKE4AM/ref=sr_1_12_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1464199112&sr=8-12&keywords=pregnancy+support+belt

We brought in ice cold water bottles (like, half-frozen) and then just refilled them at drinking fountains.

ETA: And, yes, the rides that are not safe for pregnant women are also too big for her, so you're good there. All the rides that D was big enough for (he was just a few months shy of 3) were safe for me to ride. The only one that was marked as not safe that I rode was the safari at Animal Kingdom. We just requested to ride at the front of the truck and it was no problem.

I would go! You should still be in the 2nd trimester sweet spot. I'd def just take it easy and let DH or anyone else go on rides with her, do all the "work", etc.

@littlebug: I'm not about covering every inch of the park in one day, i'm ok if we go at a slow pace. I've been there before and as a 3 yr old she has no idea if we miss stuff. most of the rides will probably be to big for her and i'll hang with her if my husband wants to ride the bigger ones like space mountain. I will def look into getting a support belt.

I would go for it! Just stay cool, Sept can be really hot there. I just went (first tri) and there weren't many things I couldn't go on. We went with our 2.5 year old and it worked out great, my preggo pace and her toddler pace were pretty compatible. Have fun!

I went at 27w in october and was fine. Just stay hydrated, rest when you need to. And get a support belt for your belly. Disney is really good with pregnancy warnings.

The timing of this baby is quite a surprise and we were hoping to take our daughter to Disney World for her 3rd birthday in Sept. I have the whole trip planned out I just have to hit confirm.

I'll be 25 weeks when we go... we fly out fri morning with less than 3 hours on the plane, check in and spend the day by the pool, hit up disney springs in the evening for dinner. Do magic kingdom on sat and either go back to magic kingdom on Sun or do epcot. Monday - character breakfast on her birthday, check out and fly home. I would def get the travel insurance.

Is there anything I'm not considering? do anything differently? Am i crazy?

I'm going to the dr for my first appt on 6/1 but i think we'd at least put the deposit down before that

I found 1 website that listed only about 6 rides i wouldn't be able to go on (splash mt, space mt, etc) but i would still be pretty cautious.
