I don't find the food at WDW to be that great, I think they do a good job feeding a lot of people in a short time, though. I have heard that the best place is Le Cellier (the steakhouse in Canada in Epcot), I've never eaten there, but I assume it's on par with a classic steakhouse.

We liked Tusker House for the character buffet. They have they typical fare plus some interesting things for the foodies.

We also ate at Hoop De Doo, which is an all you can eat sit down show, I ate my body weight in food there, I got my money's worth for sure. The only problem is that the show is a little mature for kids, so I am not sure if your kids would be into it.

Love Tusker House for the breakfast buffet (it is my favorite character breakfast and a must-do for us).
Sci-Fi is another must, dating back to when I used to go with my own parents.
Personally I was not too impressed with BOG for food. I’m glad we tried it to see what the hype was, but I would not go back.
Quick service, we enjoy Casey’s hotdog place on Main Street and if you sit outside you can get a wonderful view of the castle (some of my best pics).

We loved CRT for breakfast. Can not miss! Slightly earlier park entry too. I really enjoyed Akershus meatballs. We went there the year before CRT, for lunch so I had nothing to compare it to. LO loved parading around the restaurants in princess fashion. Would pick CRT above Akershus but Akershus was super fun too. Ask for a window table there for extra ambience!
I'm itching to go back already and we just went there last year and DL earlier this month!

We just got back and I am having major Disney withdrawal!

We did Tony's, Tusker House, Sci Fi Dine In, Be Our Guest, Akershus and we also hit the Food & Wine Festival. Our favorite for food was Tusker House. Our favorites for atmosphere were Be Our Guest & Sci Fi, though be warned the car is a little tricky with littles. We thought the food Akershus was good - not terrible like people say! - and the princesses were awesome. Tony's was fine but the parade package wasn't really worth it.

The Beach Club has a nice character breakfast (no princesses when we were there; more classic Mickey and the gang) thats not as overrun as some others.

Akershus sounds hit or miss - it was really good for us (salmon and swedish meatballs) and reasonably priced for a princess type meet.

Cinderella's Table I've only done dinner at and it's $$$$ (it was over $300 for 3 of us for dinner) but you got WAY more time with each princess there over Akerhus; you get legit 1x1 time at Cinderalla's. Snow White legit stayed at our table for at least 10 minutes talking to LO.

We did Be Our Guest for lunch and it was good. I'd do again for sure.

We went before we had our daughter but meals we enjoyed were:

Magic Kingdom - Be Our Guest
Hollywood Studios - Sci Fi Diner and 50's Prime Time (neither has fantastic food but the environment is great for both).
Disney Springs - Raglan Road (our favorite meal of the trip!)

Another meal we enjoyed was Flame Tree BBQ but that one is quick service.

We are staying at Beach Club Villas in March too! I'm excited.

Akershus was AWFUL for dinner. Easily the worst meal Ive had in 15+ trips. We are going to try the Bon Voyage Princess breakfast this year - it's at the Boardwalk so just a short walk from Beach club and is relatively new... it gets really good reviews. Cinderellas RT is a neat experience but we do the dining plan and it's 2 credits so I don't find it worth it (food was good but not amazing).

Other than that we love Be Our Guest, Ohana, Biergarten, Raglan Road and Sci-Fi diner.

Make sure to book a reservation for Beaches & Cream (at Beach Club) even if you just want to go for ice cream. They are hard to get !

We are also trying Cape May Cafe breakfast since we are staying at Beach Club. Minnie, Goofy and Donald are there.

Dh and I love Yachtsman Steakhouse so we booked a date night there.

The food at Akershus was awful, I'd pick pretty much anything over that. But if you do go with it, I'd do breakfast. It'll be less horrifyingly expensive and I think it's harder to make breakfast foods taste as bad as our lunch was.

Our window to make dining reservations opens up next week and I'm so overwhelmed! Kids will be 5 (boy) and almost 3 (girl). Any must-do dining suggestions? We are staying at the Beach Club Villas.

Also, if you had to choose between Cinderella's Royal Table and Akershus for a princess meal, which would you pick? Breakfast or lunch?
