I'm wondering if it isn't suctioning all the way. Something isn't right. This is the longest 5 days!

yeesh, I don't use diva cup, but now I'm terrified of tampons! I've always had to use super (really heavy flows, even on BCP) and it's sounding like that might not be a possibility..

Omg ladies, it sucks! I had to suck it up and try it again yesterday bc AF postpartum is horrible! It isn't comfy to insert/take out, but as long as I'm not doing any damage down there, then I guess I need to deal. Maybe another cup would work better/be less uncomfortable.

@marriedandlovingit: I know! I'm surprised at how long it has taken for things to recover down there.

BRAVE GIRL! I tried my Diva Cup just after 3 months pp (3rd degree tearing + episiotomy) and it hurt too much. I'm 7 months pp now, and I haven't tried again, but I got an IUD so my period is really pathetic now. But if "other things" are any indicator, I think around 6 months was a dramatic improvement ;)

Good luck!

@meredithNYC: I would've thought that 4 months is enough time for a return to normalcy down there. I could've never prepared myself for this! Ick.

I haven't ever used the diva cup, but I did have to use a tampon last week at 3 months postpartum. It was definitely uncomfortable and I could feel it in there the entire time :(

I'm 4 months pp now, and a couple of days ago I was trying to insert my Diva cup. OMG ouch! It was so painful! I had an episiotomy and I am hoping I just need to heal a bit more down there. Has anyone else faced this pp? Does it get better?
