I bought 4 rolls of tulle from Michaels ($4/roll) and just tied it onto a ribbon. It usually takes about 4 yards of tulle to get a nice full skirt. We use a special sewing machine that "pleats" the tulle. It's a fun and quick project - I do it while watching TV. There's a lot of different ways to do it. What I do: I buy a few rolls of tulle, grab a book or magazine and wind all the fabric around it, cut, then tie each piece on a elastic band on one of those tall toilet paper rolls with a stuffed animal attached. It's super easy and looks great in pictures.</p> <p>However, I prefer buying a cheap one online (that's a whole skirt) for everyday wear.
