My labour contractions were similar to period cramps.</p> <p>My BH felt like the waistband on my maternity jeans were too tight. Mine don't hurt at all, I haven't had anything like period cramps. Mine feel like everything is tightening at the top of my uterus and kinda like a buzzing sensation. Make sure you monitor what you are feeling in case they are timetable contractions. At my latest appointment (Tuesday) the OB said I was having contractions based on the fetal monitor (not sure if she meant B-Hicks or real ones?) but I couldn't feel them. I wasn't dilated or anything.</p> <p>While before the cramps felt like my period was about to come, now they are quite a bit more painful and feel like they do when I'm in the midst of my period and the cramps are the worst. DH and I are supposed to go on a date night in an hour but all I want to do is curl up in bed. Are they Braxton Hicks? Can I take tylenol? </p>
