I only had a few since I had a breech baby and it wasn't necessary since I was going to end up with a c-section, but they did a few leading up to scheduling it to be sure he hadn't turned. But then my cervix was super high and I never really dilated. I've decided never again though. If I get pregnant again in refusing all checks and likely opting for a scheduled c-section.
