We only have rugs (not carpet) in two rooms. So prob could even get rid of the full sized but the one in our LR is wool and sheds a ton and it almost feels like more than a stick vac can handle. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable having the stick vac as my only vac.<br /> So anyway, long winded way of saying I think it's still good to have a full sized vac plus the stick vac.
