If you crank your freezer to a temperature as low as a deep freezer, it will work. You can store milk from 6-12 months at 0-4 degrees Fahrenheit. But, everyone I know puts their milk in a deep freezer. Is that necessary?<br /> We have a normal freezer ..actually 2. We have a fridge in our basement and one upstairs. So, the basement fridge is pretty much empty and never gets opened: will that work?<br /> The upstairs freezer is always getting opened so maybe that won't work.<br /> Please don't tell me I need a deep freezer because...it's not going to happen:/ We just don't have the room or need. </p>
