We decided the cost and bulkiness of a full size high chair did not make sense for us. I registered for (and some just bought it for us!) the Stokke Tripp Trapp. It's expensive but I love that it's a little nicer looking than most high chairs so it matches our furniture better. My sister used the chair that straps to the regular chair for years. My Mom didn't like it because then my Nephew would push his way away from the table as he got older. We choose a regular high chair so we could feed her at our breakfast bar, and it's on wheels, so we can move her around.
