If not, I would tip the priest on top of the donation. Usually the donation goes to the church and the priest usually doesn't get to keep any of it. It's a little tricky to have it done at church so we're looking into the possibility of having her baptized at home. </p> <p>In this situation, am I supposed to tip the priest? One in particular is requesting for a $150 donation for his services. Do I add-on to the donation? If so, how much? </p> <p>Also, how do I go about paying him? Cash in an envelope? </p>
