It's thin enough that my ped said is ok for the carseat - although I know that's not her area of expertise I still asked. It was only for sledding pictures in the backyard. It was a BabyGap one that was very snugly and cute, but not entirely waterproof, so she wouldn't be able to use it now even if it fit her. </p> <p>We could have done without it.
