DH is the youngest, but his oldest brother is a III, and his son is a IV. My mom's brother is a III, and my mom was named for her mom. Actually, on my mom's side, the oldest boy and girl were named for their parents, and DH's oldest brother and sister were named for his parents! My dad and brother have the same name but backwards. (Dad is firstname middle and brother is middle firstname). DH's brother is a jr but DH doesn't care to have a jr. On my side, the tradition is to name after both grandfathers. so there are a million named James, but most have a different middle name.
