I consider them ambient noise and don't really notice. I just get freaked out if I don't realize the lawn people are there and they walk by the patio doors (we only have windows to the front yard in two bedrooms so we can't see out front from the living room)</p> <p>At work it can be annoying because they have huge crews that come through to mow, trim, and blow all at once. It is SO annoying. Every single time we try to enjoy a meal outside he comes outside and uses a power tool of some kind right at the fence. He also comes out when we are doing yard work and tries to show us how much better his yard tools are than ours. But two of our neighbors use a grass cutting guy who uses a leaf blower to blow around the cut grass from the sidewalks and edges of the house and I HATE IT. Like during the week well past it being dark. He does several of the neighbors' lawns too so their leaves don't blow back into his and it just takes forever. Our houses are set fairly close to the street/to other houses so it's not like its a far away muffled sound.
