My SIL just announced her pregnancy so I think the family attention will be off me for a while. I don't mind the questions so much now. They really pissed me off when DH and I still weren't able to DTD a loooonngg time after LO was born. I'm sure the questions will bug me again if I don't get pregnant soon. She's 13 months now and people ask more often, but there are no babies on the horizon for us, at least not yet. Hubby doesn't want anymore and I want to wait till LO is 3-4 before having another! They started grilling me when they would have another. I responded, "I don't know. I never asked since it is none of my business." If it's none of my business, it is certainly none of their business. And it's always coming from people who know us well and not random strangers. The day care ladies. My MIL. My favorite aunt. The contractors I've worked with since I was fresh out of college. Even my mom, who I thought isn't a baby person, once said that she wished she had more kids. And it's such a sensitive topic... none of them know that I want a big family more than I want anything, or that we had a miscarriage in March, or what's going on with DH's work. I just smile and say thanks, I hope we have another someday... but I kind of wish they would stop asking.
