It's near impossible to take care of a child full time, and actually work full time. If I were an employer of a WAHM, I would certainly expect her to have some sort of child care arrangement or else I would assume that she wasn't getting any work done. I am actually a nanny for a mom who works from home. I think it's a great set up. She loves it because she will takes breaks to nurse her son, or just spend a little time with the kids/prepare meals etc. But she definitely works! she is in her office most of the day and is on the phone constantly for work. I would never say that she doesn't work! </p> <p>I guess if you can't see it firsthand?? But yeah that's crazy.
