yeah I agree with @Andrea: I cant stand when people tell me that my baby is hungry/sleepy/tired etc. Someone came to visit me and told me right away that she thinks my baby is cold. but it was super hot in the house and she had even developed a slight heat rash.
I always assume that the mom is most in tune with the baby's needs so I always ask the mom if their baby is hungry/sleepy etc and I like when people ask me rather than just tell me what they think. Although when people ask me I usually have no idea.. its a trial and error thing to figure out what she wants

That is better than when people tell you stuff about your LO like THEY share the same brain with them. "Your LO is hungry. You should really feed her". There was this one nurse at the peds who told us that every time the LO cried. Um, she just got some shots - yes, she is probably going to cry.

Everybody always asks me things like, "is she hungry?" "is she hot?" "is she tired?" etc. I know that I have the ability to know some of these things because I know her schedule, I know when she last ate and slept..... but I still think it's weird when people ask me these things. I don't have her belly. How do I know if it's hungry?
